LATAM Airlines Group reports 9% passenger growth in March and strong demand across markets LATAM Airlines Group carried 7.6 million passengers in March, representing a 9.0% increase compared to the same month in 2025. The group also expanded its consolidated capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), by 9.3% year-over-year. This growth was mainly driven by a 12.5% increase in domestic operations at LATAM Airlines Brasil, along with a 10.9% rise in international capacity, highlighted by the launch of the São Paulo (GRU)–Amsterdam route.

In the domestic market, the addition of Santa Rosa significantly boosts connectivity within California, offering non-stop flights to key cities such as San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, and Burbank. These routes feature various frequencies, including daily operations and limited services, along with a planned seasonal connection to Austin scheduled for October. With this move, the airline solidifies its position as a leading operator in the state in terms of capacity and passenger volume.

In terms of traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), LATAM reported an 11.9% year-over-year increase, reflecting solid demand across all segments. Domestic traffic in Brazil led the growth with a 15.6% increase, followed by international operations, which rose by 12.8%. Meanwhile, domestic markets in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru recorded a combined growth of 3.0%. As a result, the consolidated load factor reached 83.8% in March, up 1.9 percentage points compared to the previous year.

Additionally, LATAM’s cargo operations also showed positive performance. Capacity, measured in available ton kilometers (ATK), reached 723 million in March, marking a 6.8% increase year-over-year. The group transported a total of 87,000 tons of cargo during the month, reinforcing its steady growth in both passenger and freight segments while strengthening its position in regional and international markets.
