As a result of this reactivation, travelers from eastern Venezuela will benefit from improved access to Copa Airlines’ Hub of the Americas® in Panama City, which connects to more than 85 destinations across 32 countries in the continent. These include 17 cities in the United States, five in Mexico, and over 20 in the Caribbean. In addition, the airline offers key advantages such as seamless connections without the need to go through immigration or customs procedures, as well as through-checked baggage to the final destination, significantly enhancing the overall travel experience.

The route will be operated from General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport with three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, allowing for a gradual response to market demand. According to the airline, this relaunch represents the final step in restoring its operations across Venezuela. Furthermore, Copa Airlines plans to increase frequencies by the end of June, reaching up to 41 weekly flights between Venezuela and Panama. This expansion reinforces the airline’s commitment to strengthening connectivity, boosting tourism, and supporting economic development in the country.
