Wingo to Launch Direct Flights Between Valencia and Bogotá in July 2026. Wingo, the low-cost airline subsidiary of Copa Holdings, announced the launch of a new direct route between Valencia and Bogotá, further strengthening its presence in the Venezuelan market. The new service will begin operations on July 14, 2026, and will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, expanding air connectivity options between Venezuela and Colombia.

The airline stated that the new route is designed to meet growing demand from travelers flying between both countries for tourism, business, education, and family reunions. With this addition, Wingo continues expanding its network in Venezuela, where it already operates daily flights between Caracas and Bogotá, as well as three weekly flights between Caracas and Medellín. The company also highlighted that since launching operations between Colombia and Venezuela in 2017, it has transported more than 350,000 passengers, demonstrating the strategic importance of the Venezuelan market within its network.

Jorge Jiménez stated that Venezuela represents a long-term strategic market for the airline and emphasized that the Valencia–Bogotá route responds to real passenger demand. Wingo also announced that fares for the new route will start at USD 105 one-way, including taxes and fees, as part of its strategy to expand access to affordable air travel with flexible and competitive pricing. According to the airline, fares between Venezuela and Colombia are approximately 20% lower compared to other operators in the Colombian market.
