United to Upgrade Houston – Santiago de Chile Route with Boeing 777-200ER. United Airlines is set to make a significant operational adjustment on its international route between Houston and Santiago de Chile for the 2026/27 season. Beginning on November 11, 2026, the airline will replace the Boeing 767-300ER with the larger Boeing 777-200ER on its daily service between both cities. The aircraft is configured with 276 seats across three classes, allowing the carrier to increase capacity on one of its key South American routes.
