United Airlines is set to make a significant operational adjustment on its international route between Houston and Santiago de Chile for the 2026/27 season. Beginning on November 11, 2026, the airline will replace the Boeing 767-300ER with the larger Boeing 777-200ER on its daily service between both cities. Flight UA847 is scheduled to depart Houston daily at 8:50 p.m., arriving in Santiago de Chile the following day at 8:50 a.m. Meanwhile, the return service, flight UA846, will depart Santiago at 10:45 p.m. and land in Houston the next day at 5:05 a.m., with all times listed in local time.
