Starting on August 3, 2026, the airline will launch three new scheduled international services. The first route will connect Asunción, Jujuy, and Iquique with two weekly flights. The second will link Asunción, Salta, and Iquique, also operating twice a week. In addition, Paranair will offer four weekly frequencies between Asunción, Viru Viru in Bolivia, and Jujuy. At the same time, the carrier will resume operations between Asunción and Córdoba, restoring a strategic connection that supports commercial, tourism, and business exchanges between Argentina and Paraguay.

The authorization is part of the memorandum of understanding signed by Argentina and Paraguay on July 31, 2024, which seeks to promote greater competition in the aviation market through the entry of new airlines and the expansion of flight offerings. In this context, Paranair’s new services are expected to enhance regional connectivity, support economic development in northern Argentina, and provide additional travel options for both passengers and businesses.

The initiative also reinforces a more federal approach to Argentina’s aviation sector by encouraging direct links between inland cities and international destinations. By reducing dependence on Buenos Aires as the primary gateway, the new routes contribute to a more efficient, competitive, and accessible air transport network across the region.
