United Airlines to Expand Newark Network with Four New Routes Starting in September 2026. United Airlines has announced the addition of four new domestic routes from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), expanding its U.S. network beginning September 24, 2026. The expansion is part of the airline’s strategy to further strengthen its primary hub in the New York metropolitan area while offering passengers more travel options across the United States.

The new schedule includes twice-daily flights between Newark and Knoxville (TYS), Tennessee, operated with CRJ-550 aircraft. United will also launch a daily service between Newark and Charlottesville (CHO), Virginia, using the same aircraft type. In addition, the airline will introduce daily flights to Bentonville (XNA), Arkansas, and Omaha (OMA), Nebraska, both operated with Embraer E175 regional jets.
With these new routes, United aims to improve connectivity between the U.S. Northeast and regional markets experiencing growing demand for both business and leisure travel. In addition to providing nonstop access to these destinations, the new services will allow passengers to connect through Newark to United’s extensive international network, which spans Europe, Latin America, Asia, and other global destinations.

Newark Liberty remains one of United Airlines’ most important hubs, serving as a key gateway for thousands of daily passengers traveling to hundreds of domestic and international destinations.
