JetBlue Simplifies Ticket Booking with New Travel Experience Categories. JetBlue has introduced a new ticket booking model designed to simplify the travel planning process by allowing customers to first choose the onboard experience they want and then select the fare that best matches their travel needs. The new purchasing system will begin rolling out in the coming days as part of the airline’s strategy to make booking more intuitive and transparent.

The new structure will feature four distinct travel experiences: Main, EvenMore®, BlueFirst™, and Mint®. Main will replace the current Core product while retaining JetBlue’s signature amenities, including free Fly-Fi® Wi-Fi, live TV and seatback entertainment, complimentary snacks, and beverages. EvenMore will provide additional legroom, priority boarding, expedited security access where available, and extra overhead bin space.
BlueFirst will become JetBlue’s new domestic premium cabin, initially launching this year on aircraft that are not currently equipped with Mint. Meanwhile, Mint will remain the airline’s flagship premium product, offering fully lie-flat seats and an elevated dining experience on select routes.

Within each travel experience, customers will be able to choose from up to three fare options: Base, Standard, and Flex. Base will be the lowest-priced option but will not include seat selection and will offer more restrictive cancellation policies. Standard will include seat selection and no-fee flight changes, while Flex will provide the highest level of flexibility, including refunds to the original form of payment under applicable conditions. Base fares will not be available for Mint.
“We’re making it easier for customers to find the JetBlue experience that’s right for them with the introduction of BlueFirst and enhancements to EvenMore,” said JetBlue President Marty St. George.
According to the airline, the new fare structure will make it easier for travelers to compare products while supporting JetBlue’s strategy to strengthen its premium offerings and improve the overall booking experience.
