Volaris has reinforced its operational performance after being recognized by OAG and CIRIUM Aviation Analytics as one of the world’s most punctual low-cost airlines. The reports, covering May and June 2026, highlight the Mexican carrier’s operational efficiency and its ability to consistently deliver reliable flight performance. According to OAG’s May 2026 report, Volaris ranked as the second most punctual low-cost airline worldwide among the 20 largest carriers in the segment, achieving an On-Time Performance (OTP) rate of 87.2%.

The airline also recorded an exceptionally low cancellation rate of just 0.05%, significantly below the global low-cost carrier average of 0.6%. Meanwhile, CIRIUM Aviation Analytics ranked Volaris ninth among the most punctual airlines in Latin America for June 2026. The carrier achieved an OTP of 82.4% after operating 15,809 flights during the month. These results reflect the strength of its ultra-low-cost business model, supported by an extensive domestic and international route network and a highly efficient operation.
