Condor to launch daily nonstop flights to Chicago in summer 2027. The new route will begin operating during the 2027 summer schedule and will be available through September 12, 2027, reinforcing the airline’s presence in North America while expanding travel options between the United States and Europe. The addition of Chicago is part of Condor’s international growth strategy and is aimed at serving both leisure and business travelers. As one of North America’s leading financial and commercial centers, Chicago also hosts one of the largest German-American communities in the United States.
In addition, O’Hare International Airport is one of the country’s largest connecting hubs, providing passengers with convenient access to destinations throughout the United States and the wider region.
“Chicago is an ideal addition to our North American network and a market with strong potential for both leisure and business travel. At the same time, passengers from the United States will enjoy seamless connections to numerous European destinations through our hub in Frankfurt,” said Condor Chief Executive Officer Peter Gerber.
The new service will coincide with another important milestone for the airline. Beginning with the 2027 summer schedule, Condor will relocate all of its operations to the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport, a facility designed to improve transfer times and streamline the connecting passenger experience. From there, travelers will have access to Condor’s expanding European network as well as international destinations served by its partner airlines.

Flights between Frankfurt and Chicago will be operated by the Airbus A330-900neo, the flagship aircraft of Condor’s long-haul fleet. The aircraft features redesigned cabins across all travel classes, fully flat Business Class seats with direct aisle access, enhanced Premium Economy seating, an advanced inflight entertainment system, and onboard Wi-Fi connectivity. Powered by new-generation engines, the A330neo also delivers lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions compared with previous-generation aircraft, supporting Condor’s long-term efficiency and sustainability strategy.
