Throughout the emergency, Avianca has maintained an active air bridge to safeguard essential air connectivity for the archipelago. Working alongside civil aviation regulators and airport authorities, operating hours at Seymour Airport on Baltra Island (GPS) were extended, enabling the carrier to perform 18 flights since the onset of severe weather. These air movements have secured continuous passenger transport, mobilization of disaster response crews, and regular supply lines to the affected island territory.
