According to the airline, the event took place after a temporary runway closure forced air traffic to be redirected to another runway. This led to the cargo aircraft flying below the required approach altitude, resulting in reduced separation between both aircraft. Following standard safety procedures, the Lufthansa crew initiated a go-around maneuver as a precaution.
