Air Europa impulsa la atención al cliente con nuevo canal de WhatsApp. Air Europa continues advancing its digital transformation strategy with the launch of a new WhatsApp channel designed to improve customer service and streamline travel management. Since April, passengers have been able to use the messaging platform not only to resolve questions and access flight information, but also to purchase tickets, manage bookings and download boarding documents directly to their mobile devices.

Customers can connect with the airline through the WhatsApp number 911 401 501, receiving immediate assistance in both Spanish and English. Once the conversation is started, users can navigate through different menu options related to their travel needs, while also having the flexibility to send free-text messages or request assistance from a live agent whenever necessary.

One of the most important features of the new channel is the ability to search for flights and complete ticket purchases entirely through WhatsApp. After the booking is confirmed, passengers receive their reservation directly in the chat and can save their boarding documents to a digital wallet, eliminating the need for printed tickets. At the moment, some services remain unavailable through the platform, including seat purchases for multi-connection itineraries, the redemption of SUMA Miles and the use of promotional codes.
In addition, travelers with existing reservations can check itinerary details, review included services, complete online check-in, make pending payments and add extra services to their booking. The initiative forms part of the airline’s broader Air Europa ON excellence program, aimed at delivering a more efficient, modern and seamless customer experience both on the ground and onboard its fleet.
