During the first six months of 2026, Airbus delivered 351 commercial aircraft and generated revenue of €33.2 billion, representing a 12% increase compared with the same period in 2025. The company also recorded 886 gross aircraft orders, bringing its backlog to 9,222 aircraft, providing several years of production visibility. Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space also contributed to the group’s performance, reporting higher order intake and improved operating results.

The positive operational performance translated into stronger profitability. Adjusted EBIT reached €2.727 billion, while net income totaled €2.243 billion. Airbus Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury said the results reflect the higher volume of aircraft deliveries and the company’s ability to execute its industrial plans despite a challenging operating environment, reinforcing confidence in achieving its medium-term objectives.
