Viva suma una nueva ruta entre San Luis Potosí y Ciudad Juárez vía Monterrey

Viva has announced a new route connecting San Luis Potosí with Ciudad Juárez, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, via a stop at Monterrey International Airport. The service will begin on November 1, 2026, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

The new connection will give passengers from San Luis Potosí access to Ciudad Juárez, a border city with the United States known for its cultural attractions, historic buildings, and natural destinations such as the Samalayuca Dunes. Its proximity to El Paso, Texas, also provides additional options for travelers crossing the border for tourism or business.

In the opposite direction, passengers from Ciudad Juárez will be able to travel to San Luis Potosí and explore some of the region’s main tourist attractions, including the Magical Towns of Real de Catorce and Xilitla, as well as the landscapes of the Huasteca Potosina.

The new service adds to the nonstop routes Viva introduced this year from San Luis Potosí to Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) and Monterrey, one of the airline’s main operating hubs.

Flights from San Luis Potosí will depart at 6:20 p.m. and arrive in Ciudad Juárez at 8:45 p.m. The return service will depart Ciudad Juárez at 1:16 p.m. and arrive in San Luis Potosí at 5:40 p.m. All times are local.

With the addition of this route, Viva aims to strengthen air connectivity between the states of San Luis Potosí and Chihuahua, facilitating travel for tourism, family visits, and business through its competitive fare model and flexible commercial options.
