Copa Airlines boosts Valencia route with daily flights.Copa Airlines has announced an increase in its international frequencies to Venezuela, strengthening its expansion strategy in the country. Starting May 1, the airline will operate a daily flight between Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City and Arturo Michelena International Airport (VLN) in Valencia. As a result, this move enhances connectivity between central Venezuela and Copa’s Hub of the Americas®, providing passengers with improved access to a wide range of destinations across the continent.

Currently, the airline operates four weekly flights on this route; however, with this adjustment, it will transition to a daily service, significantly increasing seat availability and travel options. In addition, flights will be operated using Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, configured in two classes and offering a total capacity of 166 passengers, including 16 seats in business class and 150 in economy class. Therefore, the expansion not only boosts frequency but also ensures operational efficiency and a competitive onboard product.

Regarding the schedule, flight CM250 will depart Panama City at 11:43 and arrive in Valencia at 14:53 (local time). Meanwhile, the return flight CM251 will depart Valencia at 16:03 and land in Panama at 17:21. Consequently, these timings are designed to facilitate seamless connections through Copa Airlines’ hub, enabling access to more than 80 destinations across the Americas.

Overall, with a total of 62 monthly frequencies, Copa Airlines reinforces its presence in Venezuela while also supporting regional connectivity, tourism, and business travel. This expansion highlights the airline’s role as a key player in the ongoing recovery of air traffic in Latin America.
