Furthermore, the reactivation enables passengers from Venezuela’s central-western region to connect efficiently through the Hub of the Americas® at Tocumen International Airport. From this strategic hub, travelers gain access to more than 85 destinations across 32 countries in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. As a result, the route not only restores a vital air link, but also expands opportunities for tourism, business, and family travel, strengthening Venezuela’s integration into the global aviation network.

Operations began in May from Jacinto Lara International Airport, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The service is operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering a consistent onboard experience that includes carry-on baggage and in-flight refreshments across all fare types. At the same time, Copa Airlines plans to progressively increase frequencies, aiming to reach 34 weekly flights between Venezuela and Panama by the end of May 2026. In this way, the airline not only moves closer to fully restoring its network, but also reinforces its long-term commitment to connectivity, efficiency, and service quality across the Americas.
