The airline clarified that the remainder of its operations at Ezeiza will continue normally, as flights operated with narrowbody aircraft such as the Airbus A319, A320, and A321 are not impacted by the runway restrictions. In response to the disruption, LATAM will offer affected passengers several flexible travel alternatives, including the possibility of rebooking through the airline’s hubs in Santiago, São Paulo, or Lima on regular LATAM flights.

Passengers will also be able to change their travel dates to a period before or after the restriction window, subject to seat availability, or request a full refund at no additional cost. LATAM stated that cancellations will begin being processed on May 5, and affected travelers will be notified directly. The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by a situation beyond its control and reaffirmed its commitment to providing assistance and support to all impacted passengers during the affected period.
