The service is operated with Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which accommodates up to 132 passengers in a two-by-two seating configuration, ensuring there are no middle seats on board. Travelers also benefit from complimentary high-speed WiFi, while Porter’s signature in-flight experience includes free premium snacks, as well as beer and wine served in glassware. Passengers traveling with PorterReserve enjoy additional legroom and priority boarding, while these features are also available à la carte for PorterClassic customers.

The new route provides convenient onward connections to Toronto City, Toronto Pearson, Hamilton, Calgary, and Edmonton. Porter highlighted the tourism appeal of both destinations, with Ottawa offering festivals, museums, galleries, and outdoor activities along the Rideau Canal, while Deer Lake serves as a gateway to the spectacular landscapes and hiking trails of Gros Morne National Park. The new service complements Porter’s existing Deer Lake flights from Halifax and Toronto, further strengthening the airline’s network across Canada.
