The airline reported operating revenue of US$2.7 billion, representing a 14.5% increase compared with the same period last year. Unit revenue (RASM) rose 10.9%, while system capacity expanded by 3.2%, reflecting sustained improvements across the carrier’s network.  The airline also announced that it successfully offset nearly 50% of the increase in fuel costs during the quarter, exceeding its original expectations and contributing to improved financial results.

The company continues to target annual incremental EBIT of between US$850 million and US$950 million by the end of 2027. Among the program’s latest milestones are the expansion of operations in Fort Lauderdale, the strengthening of the TrueBlue loyalty program through new partnerships, the implementation of artificial intelligence tools to improve operational planning, and the upcoming launch of BlueFirst, JetBlue’s new domestic first-class product, which is expected to enter the market during the second half of the year.
