LATAM Reinforces Bogotá–São Paulo Route with a Third Daily Flight. LATAM Airlines Brasil will strengthen its international connectivity between Colombia and Brazil by adding a third daily frequency on the Bogotá (BOG) – São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) route starting October 25. Driven primarily by growing corporate demand along one of South America’s most prominent business corridors, the additional capacity will be provided via a widebody Airbus A330 operated by Wamos Air under a wet-lease agreement.

Fleet Optimization and Wet-Lease Details

While the third daily frequency was initially slated to be operated using LATAM’s own Boeing 787 aircraft, the group adjusted its operational strategy to deploy Wamos Air’s A330 fleet instead. The decision allows LATAM to optimize its widebody utilization while maintaining equivalent passenger capacity.

• ✈ Operational Setup: Under the wet-lease contract, Wamos Air will supply the aircraft and flight crew, while LATAM handles ground operations, passenger service, and ticketing up to boarding.

• ✈ Customer Options: Passengers holding tickets for affected flights on this route may change their flight times at no additional cost or request a full refund via the My Trips section on LATAM’s digital platform.
