Arajet celebrated its fourth anniversary by reflecting on its operational growth since launching in September 2022 and announcing new expansion goals. The flag carrier of the Dominican Republic projects carrying over 2 million passengers in 2026 and exceeding 3 million in 2027, when it expects to operate a fleet of 25 aircraft.

During a press conference, the airline introduced its “Arajet Effect” study, highlighting that passenger traffic between the Dominican Republic and its regional routes grew from 1.3 million in 2022 to nearly 2.8 million in 2025, with projections exceeding 3.2 million for 2026. Argentina stands out as one of the fastest-growing markets, expected to top 425,000 passengers in 2026, alongside notable expansion in Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile.

Between September 2025 and September 2026, Arajet carried over 1.8 million passengers, up 58% from the previous period. Founder and CEO Víctor Pacheco confirmed plans to boost operations out of Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, expanding its network of over 35 destinations across more than 20 countries. Furthermore, the carrier reported generating over 1,000 direct and 2,100 indirect jobs, employing 242 pilots and more than 450 cabin crew members—all Dominican nationals.
