Aeroméxico Adds Nassau and Montego Bay to Its Caribbean Route Network

Aeroméxico has announced the addition of Nassau (The Bahamas) and Montego Bay (Jamaica) to its international route network, launching new direct services from Mexico City International Airport ahead of the 2027 Easter holiday travel season. The flight service to Montego Bay will launch on March 18, 2027, while operations to Nassau will begin on March 19. Both destinations will be served with three weekly frequencies:

•  ✈ The Mexico City–Nassau route will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing at 09:10 and arriving at 15:00. The return flight will depart at 16:15, landing in Mexico City at 18:30.
•  ✈ The Mexico City–Montego Bay route will operate on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing at 09:20 and arriving at 14:00. The return flight will take off at 15:15 and land at 18:20.

Both services remain subject to government approval and will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft configured for 166 passengers. The aircraft feature seatback inflight entertainment, onboard food and beverage service, and seamless connectivity to Aeroméxico‘s domestic network of over 40 destinations across Mexico.

With these additions, the airline expands its presence in the Caribbean, where it currently serves Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, and Havana. By Easter 2027, Aeroméxico projects offering over 4,000 weekly seats to the region across 27 frequencies. The carrier emphasized that these represent its first direct connections from Mexico to The Bahamas and Jamaica, enhancing travel options to two premier Caribbean tourist destinations.
