Avianca Boosts Córdoba: Adds Daily Flights to Bogotá and Expands Connectivity with Colombia. Avianca has strengthened connectivity between Argentina and Colombia by boosting frequencies on its Córdoba–Bogotá route from three to seven weekly flights. With this expansion, the airline now operates daily service, offering over 2,500 weekly seats between both destinations using 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.

The updated flight schedule operates as follows:

  • ✈ Flight AV138 departs Córdoba daily at 07:25, arriving in Bogotá at 11:25.
  • ✈ Flight AV139 departs Bogotá daily at 22:15, landing in Córdoba at 06:20 the following day.

This frequency increase aims to expand travel choices for Argentine and Colombian passengers while reinforcing Bogotá as a key Avianca hub, providing access to more than 80 destinations across Colombia, the Americas, and Europe.

“The frequency increase on the Bogotá-Córdoba route represents a major commitment by Avianca to this market and our customers’ connectivity,” stated David Alemán, Sales Director for Colombia and South America at Avianca, emphasizing the route’s role in driving trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.

During FIT 2026, the airline also showcased enhancements to its Economy class international product, which now includes up to 10 kg of carry-on baggage and complimentary snacks and drinks on flights over 3.5 hours within the Americas. The onboard experience is also being upgraded with the progressive rollout of Wi-Fi and inflight entertainment offering over 600 titles in the Americas and over 800 on long-haul routes.
