Meanwhile, the Santiago de Compostela–Copenhagen route will operate from June 19 to August 18, also with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. With this service, Norwegian will resume flights from the Galician airport, expanding direct travel options between northwestern Spain and Northern Europe.
Catharina Solli, Norwegian’s Director of Communications, highlighted Scandinavia’s appeal to Spanish travelers during the summer, particularly its milder temperatures, natural landscapes and cultural attractions. According to the executive, the new routes will make it easier to reach two European capitals that combine vibrant urban life, gastronomy, architecture and outdoor activities.

Oslo offers a blend of contemporary architecture and natural scenery, with easy access to attractions such as the Oslofjord. Copenhagen, meanwhile, stands out for its historic heritage, Scandinavian design and diverse culinary scene.
Spain is one of Norwegian’s most important European markets outside the Nordic countries. With these new connections, the airline aims to strengthen its presence in the country and meet demand from travelers seeking alternatives to traditional summer destinations.
