Lufthansa to Operate Daily Flights Between Frankfurt and Bogotá. Lufthansa will increase its operations between Frankfurt and Bogotá starting October 25, 2026. The airline will expand from five to seven weekly flights on the international route, establishing daily service between Germany and Colombia during the Northern Hemisphere winter season, according to the airline’s website where the flights are already available for booking.

The flights will continue to be operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured to accommodate 294 passengers in a three-class layout. This increase will expand seat capacity and strengthen connectivity between Europe and South America, particularly for corporate travelers, tourists, and connecting passengers traveling through Lufthansa’s Frankfurt hub to other destinations across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Flight LH542 will depart Frankfurt at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in Bogotá at 7:25 p.m., while the return flight LH543 will depart Bogotá at 11:30 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt the following day.

With this expansion, Lufthansa reinforces its commitment to the Colombian market amid growing demand for international travel from Bogotá. The daily operation will also provide passengers with greater flexibility while strengthening air links between both countries and offering expanded connection opportunities across the airline’s global network.
