JetSMART celebra 10 años y refuerza su expansión con la nueva ruta Buenos Aires y Medellín

JetSMART celebrates 10 years and strengthens expansion with new Buenos Aires–Medellín route.  The Airline is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of South America’s fastest-growing airlines and marked the milestone by announcing a new nonstop route between Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) and Medellín. The service will begin in November with five weekly flights, further expanding the airline’s regional network.

The new route will strengthen connectivity between Argentina and Colombia while providing passengers with easier access to other destinations across JetSMART’s network, including the Colombian Caribbean and Punta Cana. The service forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance international connectivity from Argentina.

The new Medellín route is part of JetSMART’s broader expansion plan in Argentina, which includes an investment of more than US$500 million, the addition of 23 aircraft, the launch of five new routes, and the creation of 300 new jobs. According to CEO and founder Estuardo Ortiz, these initiatives reflect the airline’s ongoing commitment to making air travel more accessible through ultra-low-cost fares while continuing to strengthen connectivity across South America.
