Avianca operará vuelos diarios desde Montevideo y Asunción hacia Bogotá

Avianca to operate daily flights from Montevideo and Asunción to Bogotá. Avianca announced an increase in its international operations from the Southern Cone by expanding its services between Montevideo–Bogotá and Asunción–Bogotá. Starting in the last week of October, the airline will operate daily flights on both routes, increasing the available capacity for passengers from Uruguay and Paraguay seeking connections to Colombia, the Americas and Europe.

The airline will add flights operated with Airbus A320 family aircraft, each with capacity for 180 passengers. The measure responds to growing travel demand from the Southern Cone and will provide greater schedule flexibility and seat availability for customers using Bogotá as an international connecting hub.

David Alemán, Avianca’s Sales Director for South America and Colombia, highlighted that the capacity increase in Montevideo and Asunción represents an important step in strengthening the airline’s presence in strategic markets across the region. Currently, Avianca offers passengers from Paraguay and Uruguay access to a global network of more than 700 daily flights and 155 routes to more than 80 destinations in 25 countries across the Americas and Europe. The new flights are already available for sale through the airline’s official channels.
