Delta to launch Seattle–Tokyo Narita flights in 2027. Delta Air Lines announced a new international route between Seattle-Tacoma and Tokyo-Narita, scheduled to begin operating in late March 2027. The new service will expand the airline’s presence in the Japanese market and provide additional travel options for passengers traveling between the United States and Asia.

The service will complement Delta’s existing Seattle–Tokyo Haneda operation, giving passengers in the Pacific Northwest two options for reaching Tokyo. With the addition of Narita, Delta will increase its capacity to Japan and facilitate connections from its extensive domestic network in the United States, benefiting both business and leisure travelers seeking access to Tokyo and other destinations across Japan.

The route will operate daily using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft equipped with Delta’s different service classes, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main. Delta said Japan remains a priority market within its international network, while the new service will strengthen commercial, tourism and cultural ties between Japan and the Seattle region.
