This strategic partnership comes during a period of strong operational growth for the airline in Argentina. During the first half of 2026, Avianca transported over 387,000 passengers to and from Argentina, representing a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This performance aligns with the carrier’s broader regional trend, which saw a 13% increase in South American passenger volume between 2024 and 2025.
Currently, the airline operates more than 40 weekly frequencies in the country, offering flights from Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza) and Jorge Newbery Airfield (Aeroparque) in Buenos Aires, as well as Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio Taravella International Airport in Córdoba. Through its main hub at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, the carrier provides seamless connections to Central America, North America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
