Discover Airlines Adds the UK to Its Route Network for Summer 2027. Discover Airlines will significantly expand its summer 2027 route network by introducing Bristol, Glasgow, and Inverness, marking its first-ever destinations in England and Scotland. The leisure carrier will launch direct flights from Frankfurt to all three cities, while also introducing a new connection between Munich and Glasgow—a route previously operated by Lufthansa. The two-hour flights will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, offering up to 11 weekly flights to Great Britain.

Route Launch Schedule
- ✈ Frankfurt – Glasgow: Launches March 29, 2027, with up to six weekly flights.
- ✈ Frankfurt – Bristol: Begins May 17, 2027, operating twice weekly.
- ✈ Munich – Glasgow: Starts May 16, 2027, with up to two weekly flights.
- ✈ Frankfurt – Inverness: Commences June 19, 2027, offering one weekly frequency.

The expansion targets growing demand for nature tourism, outdoor activities, and cultural travel across the Cotswolds and the Scottish Highlands. These new additions complement Discover Airlines’ existing Frankfurt–Shannon (Ireland) service, which has been operational since April 2026. Marco Götz, Commercial Director of Discover Airlines, noted that the new routes enhance accessibility to unique European destinations through the carrier’s main hubs in Frankfurt and Munich. Tickets are currently available via Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, tour operators, and travel agencies.
