Wingo Requests Additional Frequencies on Bogotá–Valencia Route. Low-cost carrier Wingo (operating under Aerorepública S.A.) has formally submitted a request to Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority (Aeronáutica Civil) to increase frequencies on its international service between Bogotá (BOG) and Valencia (VLN), Venezuela. According to filing number 2026190010124748 dated August 18, 2026, the airline seeks authorization to expand operations up to seven weekly frequencies (one daily flight).

The requested expansion on the Bogotá–Valencia–Bogotá route is planned using Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. The increase aims to reinforce connectivity between Colombia and Venezuela while scaling up capacity on an established route within Wingo’s international network.

The filing will undergo administrative review by Aeronáutica Civil and remain open for a three-day public consultation period in accordance with RAC 5 regulations. Upon regulatory approval, Wingo will be authorized to schedule and market the additional daily flights.
