• ✈ Jan–Aug International Volume: Between January and August 2026, Argentine airports handled 11,691,219 international passengers, marking the highest historical volume for the eight-month period.

• ✈ International Flight Movements: International operations reached 77,726 movements during the first eight months, establishing another record high.

• ✈ Total Airport System Totals: The national airport system registered a cumulative total of 33,022,783 overall passengers and 260,113 total aircraft movements through August.

Regional Direct International Connectivity Surge A key driver of this growth is the decentralization of air travel, enabling passengers to fly internationally directly from Argentina’s provinces without connecting through Buenos Aires:

• ✈ Direct Regional Traffic: In August, 222,417 passengers flew abroad directly from regional airports, representing an 11% increase over August 2025, a 61% rise compared to 2024, and a 115% surge versus 2023.

• ✈ Top Regional International Growth: Leading year-over-year increases in international passenger traffic were recorded in Tucumán (+248%), Rosario (+31%), Bariloche (+12%), Ezeiza (+5%), and Mendoza (+5%).
