Clic Announces Major Regional Route Expansion Plan in Colombia. Clic, Colombia’s leading regional airline, has filed a request with the Civil Aviation Authority of Colombia (Aerocivil) to launch 10 new regional routes connecting Bogotá and Villavicencio with remote destinations across the Pacific, Caribbean, Amazon, and Orinoquía regions starting in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The expansion plan includes seven routes out of Bogotá serving Tumaco (7 weekly frequencies), Saravena (4), Apartadó (6), Villa Garzón (3), Corozal (5), Mitú (7), and Puerto Carreño (3). Additionally, three routes from Villavicencio will connect to Mitú (3), Inírida (4), and Puerto Carreño (3). This proposal follows the airline’s recent route launch between Medellín and Manizales, as well as the resumption of flights between Bogotá and Cali.
“To carry a higher volume of passengers and enhance operational reliability, the company expanded its fleet to 22 aircraft, acquiring four ATR 72-600s in 2026. We now aim to serve more territories directly, using Bogotá and Villavicencio as main operational bases,” stated Isaac Herrera, General Manager of Clic.

The project was welcomed by regional officials and local authorities, including Claudia Patricia Erazo (Administrative Director of Tourism for Nariño), Luis Alfredo Gutiérrez (Governor of Vaupés), Oscar Fabián Espinosa (House Representative), Juan Ignacio Cifuentes (Mayor of Saravena), Arturo Alexander Sánchez (Mayor of Inírida), Adolfo David Romero (Mayor of Apartadó), Jhon Gabriel Molina (Governor of Putumayo), and Paulo César Flórez (President of the Tumaco Tourism Corporation). They highlighted that improved direct air connectivity will reduce travel times and costs while boosting local commerce, healthcare access, and tourism.
