This decision reflects a broader trend among carriers serving the destination. Volaris similarly announced a temporary suspension of its Tulum flights starting January 7, 2027, citing rising operational costs and lower load factors. Despite these withdrawals, Tulum‘s airport maintains ongoing commercial operations through other domestic and international airlines.
