LEVEL launches direct Barcelona–Lima flights.LEVEL has officially launched its new nonstop service between Barcelona and Lima, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion across Latin America. The inaugural flight departed from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, making LEVEL the only airline currently offering direct flights between the Catalan capital and the Peruvian capital. The new route is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Spain and Peru while supporting growing demand for travel between the two countries.

The service will initially operate three times per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft configured with both Premium Economy and Economy cabins. LEVEL plans to offer nearly 80,000 seats on the route through March 2027. Flight schedules have been designed to facilitate connections with destinations across Europe and the Americas, further enhancing Barcelona’s role as a major international gateway. According to the airline, the route has already demonstrated strong demand, with a significant share of passengers connecting through Barcelona from other European cities, particularly from Italy.

The launch has received strong institutional support from the Barcelona Air Route Development Committee (CDRA), whose members highlighted the strategic importance of the new service for strengthening the airport’s intercontinental network and reinforcing Barcelona’s position as a bridge between Europe and Latin America. The route also responds to growing travel demand between Spain and Peru, which surpassed 97,000 passengers in 2025. Beyond improving connectivity, the new service is expected to foster tourism, business opportunities, and cultural exchange between the two regions. With Lima joining its network, LEVEL continues to expand its long-haul operations and reinforce its commitment to providing more direct travel options from Barcelona while supporting the city’s development as a leading hub for transatlantic connectivity.
