The projections were developed using predictive models based on historical traffic data from 2022 to 2025, incorporating time-series analysis and machine learning tools. Aerocivil identified June 26 and July 3 as the busiest travel days of the season, with daily passenger volumes expected to surpass 200,000 travelers. The forecasts will help aviation authorities, airport operators, airlines, and concessionaires strengthen operational planning and ensure adequate capacity during peak travel periods. Aerocivil has also encouraged passengers to plan their journeys in advance, regularly check flight information, and arrive at airports with sufficient time before departure. Through coordinated efforts across the aviation industry, Colombia aims to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations throughout one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
