The new service further strengthens the airline’s long-haul network and expands its presence in Central America while providing passengers with convenient access to multiple European destinations through its hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
- ✈ The airline will operate three weekly flights, departing Madrid every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 1:45 a.m.
- ✈ Return flights from San Salvador will depart on the same days at 12:10 p.m., offering travelers greater flexibility between Spain and El Salvador.
The route will be operated using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, recognized for their fuel efficiency, lower operating costs, and enhanced passenger comfort. On board, travelers will benefit from the airline’s Air Europa ON program, which offers a more personalized travel experience, upgraded onboard services, and enhanced satellite Wi-Fi connectivity. Business Class passengers will also enjoy an updated beverage selection, new amenity kits, and high-speed internet service designed to deliver connectivity comparable to that available at home or in the office.

With the addition of El Salvador to its route network, Air Europa continues executing its international expansion strategy while responding to the growing appeal of the Central American country as a tourism destination, supported by its cultural heritage, natural attractions, and ongoing infrastructure development. During 2026, the airline also expanded its network with new services to Oviedo, Seville, Geneva, and Johannesburg, while introducing seasonal flights to Bologna and Tangier for the first time, further strengthening its presence across both Europe and long-haul markets.
