The Seattle–Athens service (flight AS196) will launch in May 2027, making Alaska Airlines the first carrier to offer a direct non-stop link between the U.S. West Coast and the Greek capital. The airline noted that Athens ranks among the most requested destinations by members of its Atmos Rewards program.

Meanwhile, the new Seattle–Paris route (flight AS136) will serve Charles de Gaulle Airport, making Alaska Airlines the first oneworld alliance member to operate non-stop flights between the U.S. West Coast and Paris. The flight schedules are designed to enable same-day connections between Honolulu and Paris via Seattle, boosting international connectivity for Hawaii. Tickets are currently on sale, with promotional round-trip economy fares starting at $999 for purchases made in the U.S. through August 26.
