The route marked the addition of Tucumán as the airline’s sixth destination in Argentina.

A key benefit of the service is the ability to connect seamlessly through the Hub of the Americas without clearing customs or immigration during layovers, with baggage checked straight through to the final destination. Additionally, the airline highlights its onboard service offering, which includes complimentary carry-on baggage and inflight snacks across all fare classes, alongside a dedicated Executive Cabin product.
The Tucumán–Panama route operates within the broader expansion of Copa Airlines across Argentina. The carrier also emphasized its high punctuality standards and the progressive rollout of high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink, making it the first airline in Latin America to introduce this technology.
