KLM Takes Delivery of Its First Airbus A350 and Expands Winter Flight Schedule. KLM has unveiled its schedule for the 2026–2027 winter season, operating flights to 164 destinations across 64 countries between October 25 and March 27. The Dutch carrier will serve 93 European and 71 intercontinental destinations while expanding capacity on multiple routes to meet passenger demand.

Key highlights include the return of Minneapolis to the winter timetable for the first time since 2023, while San Diego will feature year-round operations for the first time. KLM will also increase services to Panama City, offering up to ten weekly frequencies during peak periods, and to São Paulo, which will see nine weekly flights. Capacity to Curaçao will also expand from the standard nine weekly flights to ten in January and February, twelve during the Christmas holidays, and eleven during spring break. Within Europe, KLM will add frequencies to destinations including Rovaniemi, Kittilä, Florence, and Basel.
The carrier also plans to resume flights to Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam at the start of the season, pending developments in the Middle East. Additionally, efforts continue toward restoring routes to Kigali and Entebbe, with the latter subject to the lifting of travel restrictions associated with the Ebola outbreak in Central Africa.

Another major milestone will be the entry into service of KLM‘s first Airbus A350 as part of its fleet renewal strategy. The new aircraft’s inaugural commercial flight will serve Toronto, a route operating twelve times weekly with five frequencies on the A350. The widebody jet will subsequently deploy on routes to Montreal, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, and Nairobi.
Furthermore, the airline is expanding its Premium Comfort cabin availability and introducing its new Grand Café KLM dining concept in European Economy Class.
