Canaryfly Ranks as Spain’s Most Punctual Airline During the Summer. Canaryfly has been recognized as the most punctual airline in Spain during July and August 2026, recording a delay rate 17.71 percentage points below the national average, according to a study by flight data platform Flightright.

The report reveals that the carrier stood out among the 20 airlines evaluated, recording a flight delay rate of just 22.27%, compared to the industry average of 39.98% over the peak summer travel period.
“These results reflect the dedication behind every flight by a coordinated team of professionals ensuring our passengers reach their destination on schedule,” stated Cathaysa Santana, Marketing and Communications Director at Canaryfly.
She added that operational punctuality represents a daily commitment across all departments, expressing satisfaction with achieving low delay rates during peak summer travel volumes. Following these operational results, Canaryfly aims to maintain service quality across its regional network.

The carrier transported over 620,000 passengers in 2025. Additionally, in June 2026, the airline renewed its Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration with IATA, a benchmark first obtained in 2018 that validates its operational management and safety standards alongside its ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
