Star Alliance Wins Skytrax Award for World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge Again. The Star Alliance lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has been named the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge for the third consecutive year at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026. Additionally, the alliance’s lounge at Los Angeles International Airport claimed second place, allowing Star Alliance to secure the top two positions globally in this category.

Located in Terminal 1 at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the 1,300-square-meter Paris lounge opened its doors in October 2023. The space combines contemporary design with touches inspired by France, offering dedicated areas for relaxation, work, and dining. Among its main highlights are a welcome bar, a wine section celebrating French winemaking traditions, and direct runway views, securing its third straight win since its opening.
Ambar Franco, Vice President of Customer Experience at Star Alliance, emphasized that both awards reflect the collaborative efforts of member airlines, ground teams, and partners to enhance the journey for passengers connecting across multiple carriers. The Skytrax World Airline Awards are determined through an independent global survey conducted among international travelers.

Currently, 21 Star Alliance member airlines operate flights to Paris, offering over 800 weekly frequencies to more than 30 destinations across over 20 countries. Operating carriers include Air Canada, Air China, Air India, ANA, Avianca, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines.
