SKY Airline Launches Flights Between Lima and Talara (Peru) with Four Weekly Frequencies. SKY Airline launched its new service connecting Lima and Talara (Peru) with flight H2 5460 departing the capital at nearly 80% occupancy. The seasonal route commenced operations on October 2, 2026, and will run through February 28, 2027. With this launch, SKY becomes the second carrier on the route, expanding total seat capacity between both cities by approximately 19%.

The schedule features four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Lima‘s Jorge Chávez International Airport at 16:00 and returning from Talara at 18:40. The airline expects to carry around 5,000 passengers per month. The inaugural event was attended by José Raúl Vargas, General Manager of SKY in Peru; Gabriela María Carrasco Carrasco, Vice Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC); and officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC).

The addition of Talara strengthens SKY‘s growth strategy in northern Peru, where the airline has boosted its monthly seat capacity by 60% following recent route additions to Chiclayo in July and Cajamarca in September of this year.
