LATAM and Delta Transport 17.4 Million Passengers in Four Years of Joint Venture. LATAM and Delta carried 17.4 million passengers across 83,000 flights during the first four years of their joint venture agreement. Between October 2022 and July 2026, both carriers made over 20 million seats available on flights connecting North America and South America.

Joint seat capacity for 2026 is projected to finish 31% above levels recorded in 2023. The combined network currently serves over 300 destinations across the United States, Canada, and South America. Since launching the partnership, LATAM and Delta have added nine new routes to their joint schedule. Key additions include LATAM-operated services on the São Paulo–Los Angeles and Buenos Aires–Miami corridors, alongside Delta-operated flights connecting Atlanta with Lima and Cartagena.
Additionally, Delta expanded its flight frequencies to São Paulo and Bogotá while adding seasonal capacity on routes to Santiago and Buenos Aires during peak travel periods. Connecting traffic represented a major share of total volume, with 9.4 million passengers traveling on itineraries requiring one or more connections.

The commercial alliance between LATAM and Delta expanded its initial geographic footprint—which covered Chile, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia—by incorporating Ecuador in 2024 and Argentina in 2025. The joint agreement also includes reciprocal loyalty benefits and cargo integration. Moving forward, LATAM’s upcoming Airbus A321XLR fleet and Delta’s ongoing fleet renewal will support potential expansion into new nonstop routes and additional frequencies.
