Passenger movement connecting Boston (United States) and the Dominican Republic continues an upward trend, setting up a record-breaking close for 2026. Official figures from the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) show that 523,883 travelers flew between both markets between January 1 and August 30. If the current pace continues through year-end, total volume is projected to reach approximately 792,319 passengers, marking a 23.6% increase over the 641,262 recorded in 2025.

Data pulled from the JAC‘s SIAGA tracking system outlines multi-year growth along the route. Annual traffic rose from 385,774 passengers in 2022 to 516,142 in 2023 and 550,876 in 2024. Reaching the projected 2026 total would represent a 105.4% cumulative traffic expansion compared to four years prior.

JetBlue remains the primary carrier on the corridor, having carried 585,980 passengers in 2025 and 441,097 through August 2026, positioning the airline to surpass 667,000 yearly passengers. Meanwhile, Dominican low-cost airline Arajet expanded its market share, growing from 5,479 passengers in 2025 to 27,554 during the first eight months of 2026, aiming for roughly 41,700 total passengers by year-end.
