Across the domestic market, the state-owned airline reported a 16% increase in total booking volume compared to the corresponding long weekend period in 2025. Concurrently, international flight bookings on long-haul routes bound for Europe recorded a 17% year-over-year surge. Across the carrier’s entire route network, average projected load factor has reached 87%. Broken down by operational sector, domestic flights show a forecasted load factor of 88%, while the regional network operating across neighboring South American destinations stands at 86% capacity.

The ranking of top-performing routes by passenger volume is led by the heavy-traffic corridor connecting Buenos Aires with the popular Patagonian resort city of San Carlos de Bariloche. The list of high-demand domestic connections continues with flights linking the Argentine capital to key regional economic and tourism hubs, including Mendoza, Córdoba, and Puerto Iguazú. Rounding out the top ten primary destinations on the airline’s holiday flight schedule are Ushuaia, Neuquén, El Calafate, Salta, and the high-density regional route connecting Buenos Aires with Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

The strong booking figures recorded for the October holiday weekend underscore sustained demand for domestic leisure travel across Argentina. They also highlight passenger preference for Aerolíneas Argentinas‘ non-stop operations out of its primary operational bases at Jorge Newbery Airfield (AEP) and Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) in Buenos Aires. The balanced growth across domestic, regional, and European corridors enables the airline to maximize aircraft utilization across both its narrowbody and widebody fleets during peak travel days.
