According to the airline, the integration of the 737-8 will not only improve operational performance but also reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 20% compared to older-generation aircraft. In this context, the new aircraft complements EgyptAir’s existing fleet of Next-Generation 737s, ensuring operational commonality while increasing flexibility across its network. Furthermore, the airline plans to deploy the aircraft on short- and medium-haul routes, including key destinations such as Paris, Brussels, Istanbul and Vienna, thereby strengthening its connectivity between Egypt and major European markets.
