Currently, GOL operates regular flights from Asunción to São Paulo/Guarulhos and Rio de Janeiro, reinforcing its presence in the Paraguayan market and expanding year-round international connectivity options. Under the updated schedule, flights between Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From Rio de Janeiro, passengers will benefit from more convenient onward connections to GOL’s flights bound for John F. Kennedy International Airport, strengthening travel links between South America and the United States.

Danillo Barbizan, the airline’s sales director, stated that the additional frequencies and schedule adjustments will allow GOL to offer more competitive and efficient connectivity options for Paraguayan travelers.
