Frontier Airlines Returns to Oakland and Adds New Routes from Las Vegas. Frontier Airlines has announced the launch of new routes in the western United States, including its return to Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK). The ultra-low-cost carrier will begin operating flights between Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and Oakland on August 20, offering 11 weekly frequencies. In addition, Frontier will launch a new route connecting Las Vegas and Boise Airport (BOI) in Idaho on September 10, with four weekly flights.

The expansion is part of Frontier’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its network and provide travelers with more affordable travel options across key domestic markets. To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at just $49 one way. “We are delighted to announce these new routes and our return to OAK, offering consumers in Nevada, Idaho, and California convenient and affordable travel options,” said Josh Flyr, Vice President of Network Design and Operations at Frontier Airlines. With these additions, the carrier continues to expand its footprint across the United States while reinforcing its commitment to delivering low fares and greater accessibility to air travel.
