Volaris has commemorated 11 years of operations in Guatemala, solidifying its position as one of the leading low-cost airlines connecting the country with Mexico and the United States. Since launching flights on June 18, 2015, with its route between Guadalajara and Guatemala City, the airline has completed more than 28,000 flight operations and transported over three million passengers. Among them, nearly 270,000 people flew for the first time, highlighting the airline’s role in democratizing air travel and expanding access to international connectivity.

Today, Volaris operates direct flights from Guatemala City to Mexico City, Cancún, and Los Angeles, while also providing connections through its Mexican network to destinations such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, San José del Cabo, Chicago, and Oakland. This network helps strengthen commercial, tourism, and family ties between Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States. Between January and April 2026 alone, Volaris carried more than 173,000 passengers to and from Guatemala, underscoring the importance of air connectivity in supporting tourism, facilitating business travel, and promoting economic exchange across the region.

As part of its anniversary celebration and in conjunction with Guatemala’s Bono 14 holiday bonus season, Volaris announced a special promotion offering up to 40% off flights to and from Guatemala City using the promotional code VOLH40. The offer will be available for bookings made between July 3 and July 9, 2026, and will be valid for travel from July 15, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Through this initiative, the airline aims to continue making travel more accessible, strengthening its presence in the Guatemalan market, and contributing to the growth of air mobility across Central America.
